BIENVENIDOS – Day 1
Arrival means Equipo meets your flight at Pereira International Airport (PEI) to travel for a welcome dinner reception, relaxing hotel accommodations, and bike preparation.

BEAUTY ABOVE – Day 2
Day 2 start with a fortifying breakfast of local Colombian tastes of homemade arepas, freshly ground corn pancakes, homemade cheeses, and tropical fruits. Our first stage in the UNESCO World Heritage region of the Coffee Triangle begins with a warm-up for our legs toward Armenia passing to Alcala, Quimbaya, and Montenegro to finish at our second hotel in Pueblo Tapado. We ride past quaint colonial towns of Montenegro, Quimbaya, Filandia, including a combination of rollers, climbs, and descents through sedate country towns that export Arabica coffee beans, oranges, plantains and more coffee. After climbing 1,000 meters, we return to the next hotel. Dinner this evening immerses in typical Colombian cuisine.
> Riding time is 3-4 hours, covering approximately 80 km. We divide the group based on the level from beginner to advanced. Each stage can be shortened, as well, because of SAG support the entire journey.
ROLLER COASTER REWARDS – Day 3
We start today’s stage two with a hearty Colombian breakfast and then we let our nose guide us to the surprising aroma of award-winning coffee beans. Today’s ride is memorable with hard, endless rollers combined with magnificent views of green lush landscapes, mountains in this agricultural, country region called Quindio. Heading towards La Tebaida, we turn west towards Calarca, Barcelona, Cordoba, quaint pueblos with rustic town centers filled with artisanal crafts and homemade Colombian treats. From Cordoba we have an intense short climb to Pijao and a descent for the best 360-degree views of the Andes mountains. The roads are open and smooth, as we look for the lightest traveled country roads. We’re stopping to experience coffee at an exclusive coffee plantation, followed by more snacks. We return by bake to the hotel or optional by SAG cars to take us to the next hotel, where your luggage is waiting for you along with well-earned hammock time in the afternoon. Take in a massage before dinner this evening at one of the best restaurants in the area, to explore the variety of Colombian cuisine.

QUEEN STAGE – Day 4
Riding out from our hotel in Pueblo Tapado we jump on bikes towards Quimbaya to cross on 17K hard kilometers towards the town of Filandia. Today’s journey covers 110 km and 2,800 meters of elevation gain. The tranquil journey is filled with coffee plantations and tropical fruits, as the legs power us up and down rollers. We’ll stop for a refreshing snack break in Filandia before continuing towards the famous town called Salento and on to the breathtaking Cocora Valley – and travel on the wide open roads leading to Cocora and it’s mystical, towering wax palm trees. We return towards the popular tourist village of Salento with its colorful houses where we will spend the night at our next hotel. Explore this evening, strolling in the town center, followed by a typical Colombian dining experience of the region.

CYCLING SENSES – Day 5
After our Colombian breakfast, we will head North on our bikes back to Pereira. Roll out of Salento with a great and easy decent before 4 km of steady climbing that will lead us to our great decent towars Circacia and Quimbaya. Let your soul ride and enjoy this open views the Andes with its endless greenery. False flats and smalls rollers side by side with Caturra Arabica coffee plantations will lead us all the way to Ansermanueva as we head south and step into the neighboring region of Valle del Cauca. Refreshments, snacks and photos before we head back to Pereira finishing with 10km of easy – pleasant climb.

EASY LEGS UP – DAY 6
Our final stage takes us to Marsella (76k ride). Marsella is a colonial town, famous for its botanic garden. Jardin Bontanico Marsella Alejandro Hombolt which was set up to promote ecological sustainability in the area. A perfect way to loosen up our legs in our final ride in Colombia.

ADIOS – Day 7
Enjoy a delightful breakfast with fellow travelers before we return you to Pereira International Airport.
